ASACP Welcomes Adult Webcam Conference as its Newest Corporate Sponsor
LOS ANGELES (Nov. 3, 2015) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce that Adult Webcam Conference has become its newest Corporate Sponsor. ASACP provides online businesses with a Code of Ethics and market specific Best Practices, while its Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta label helps prevent a minor’s unauthorized access to adult-oriented websites and mobile apps. ASACP also operates an internationally recognized Child Exploitation Hotline, which has an enviable record of success in helping to close illegal websites. According to Adult Webcam Conference spokesperson Coralyn Jewel, as the lead organizer for the annual Adult Webcam Awards, the company is honored to be a supporter of ASACP — an organization that it feels strongly about. “It is important that all of us involved in the adult industry support the battle against child pornography and exposure to adult materials,” Jewel says, pointing to simple steps that site owners can take, such as using ASACP’s RTA meta tag. “ASACP is delighted to add Adult Webcam Conference to our family of sponsors,” ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning stated. “The adult webcam market is growing by leaps and bounds, and presents its own challenges in regards to online child protection, so it is vital that market leaders such as Adult Webcam Conference help in the mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment.” To further demonstrate its commitment to ASACP, a percentage of gross ticket sales from the upcoming Adult Webcam Conference and Awards Show in Las Vegas, being held Jan 20-21, 2016, will be donated to the association — with additional donations collected from attendees at the door, for those who wish to more directly support the association’s valiant mission. “We applaud Adult Webcam Conference’s creativity and generosity in financially supporting the association through a cut of ticket sales from its show, which draws industry professionals along with performers and fans to its popular event,” Henning explains. “We hope that other B2B and B2C adult will likewise offer to help ASACP.” “An extra $5 on the ticket price donated to ASACP won’t make any difference to attendees,” Henning adds, “but it would make a world of difference to the association and its ability to carry on its vital mission.” ASACP relies on the generous support of companies such as Adult Webcam Conference in order to fulfill its mission and to carry on its international outreach programs. “The adult entertainment industry is made up of a wide variety of companies,” Henning says. “Some of which are exemplary leaders among their peers, showing that ‘doing the right thing’ and earning profits can go hand in hand. Adult Webcam Conference is a shining example of how proactive responsibility and market leadership can successfully coexist.” For more information on how your company can help protect itself by protecting children, email tim@asacp.org.
