ASACP Travels to Barcelona for TES, Embraces Opportunity for Outreach
LOS ANGELES (February 15, 2022) — ASACP, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, is delighted to announce its return to Barcelona for the TES Affiliate Conferences, set for Feb. 23-26, at the Hotel Calipolis, in Sitges, Spain. Founded in 2009, TES Affiliate Conferences brings together professionals from the online entertainment industry, e-commerce, financials, gaming, gambling, dating, forex, health, nutraceuticals, and other digital industries for an intensive, three-day networking event. An ASACP Sponsor since 2010, TES Affiliate Conferences has been one of ASACP’s most stalwart supporters, providing a high level of assistance that has enabled the association to educate operators across Europe and beyond about the vital need for online child protection. “From the onset, TES Affiliate Conferences was intent on creating a great networking experience for its attendees,” said an event spokesperson. “In our high-tech world, it is of supreme importance that excellent inter-personal relationships be developed and maintained, as they are the cornerstones of building a successful business.” According to the show’s promoters, this unique conference will present a bold vision for the future as the industry returns to in-person networking and meetings. ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning will participate in the Sitges event, thanks to the generous support of TES, which will provide complimentary show admission, accommodations, and promotion. Also, ASACP will sponsor the refreshment station, with welcome drinks on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, the association will host the Coffee, Cake, Snack, and Hot Dog stations on Thursday and Friday, providing attendees with a popular, informal networking hub. At TES, Henning will educate app developers, website owners, service providers, and other market stakeholders on how they can protect their companies while protecting children on the internet. “I am very excited to reunite with everyone in person and for the opportunity to make new ‘real world’ connections,” Henning exclaimed. “While virtual events have provided an easy and safe alternative for doing business in a world hamstrung by the pandemic’s travel restrictions, there is no replacement for in-person, one-on-one meetings.” “I truly look forward to attending TES and reconnecting with both old and new friends alike,” Henning added. “It will be an important step in moving the industry, and the state of online child protection, forward into the future.” DialXS, the association’s Official Travel Sponsor, will underwrite Henning’s travel expenses for the Sitges event. “DialXS is very much aware that for a nonprofit organization such as ASACP, it is challenging to get new sponsors onboard without meeting relevant decision-makers in person,” said Chris Visser of DialXS. “Because of this, DialXS is making sure that ASACP will be able to attend TES 2022 in Sitges.” Henning said that TES is an integral part of the association’s annual fundraising and outreach efforts. ASACP’s access to TES’s global audience is only possible through the generous assistance of DialXS and the event’s promoters. “These market-leading companies are doing their part to promote the interests of child safety and the industry at large,” Henning concluded. “Their support allows the association to reach out to other stakeholders and to present our message of corporate and social responsibility. Together, we can make a positive difference for the future.” To schedule a meeting with Henning at TES, email tim@asacp.org.
